Hay's Dock Café Restaurant is located on the upper floor of Shetland Museum and Archives in Lerwick.
Close to the town centre, the café restaurant is easily accessible by foot and public or private transport.

From Sumburgh Airport: Follow the main road straight ahead for approximately 26 miles into Lerwick and turn left at the second roundabout. Continue to the end of the road and turn right at the mini roundabout then left at the next mini roundabout. Follow signs into the car park. Journey time by car approximately 30 minutes.
From Northlink Ferry Terminal: Turn left on to the main road following signs for the town centre. Bear slightly right (second exit) at the first roundabout, go straight on at the second roundabout and turn left (first exit) at the third one. Follow signs into the car park. Journey time by car approximately 3 minutes, by foot around 15 minutes.
From the Viking Bus Station: Turn down the hill at the roundabout next to the bus station exit. Follow signs into the car park. Journey time by foot – 3 minutes.
From the Town Centre: If on foot, head northwards along Commercial Street from the Market Cross (which is where you'll find the Tourist Office), passing the walls of Fort Charlotte on your left. Continue straight on until you reach a mini-roundabout next to the bus station. Cross the road here and walk down hill towards the sea, taking the first left and continuing past Mareel on your right, then walk through the Museum car park to the Museum itself.
If travelling by car, drive northwards along the Esplanade, passing the large, red Albert Building on your right, and continue to the mini-roundabout by the bus station. Turn right and then take the first left, passing Mareel on your right, and park in the Museum car park beyond.
