Our chef takes pride in carefully selecting seasonally available produce to create stunning menus.

Shetland has abundant fresh, local ingredients, which form part of our rich heritage and culture including fishing and crofting; our menus may occasionally offer dishes that complement themed exhibitions or events in the Museum.

At lunch-time, Hay's Dock offers a wide choice, from sandwiches or baked potatoes to more substantial meals.  The Lunch Menu is served from 12 noon to last orders at 3.30pm.  At other times, you might choose to have tea or coffee, perhaps with a delicious homemade scone or something from our cake counter. 

A special EVENING MENU is available during Shetland Wool Week 2018 from 17.00 to 20.00 on the following evenings - Saturday 22nd, Thursday 27th, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th September.

You can enjoy fine wine from our extensive Wine List and our waiting staff will be pleased to suggest something appropriate to accompany your meal. There's a good selection of spirits and liqueurs to round off your meal, too.
